On-Line Lodging Reservations: atHome lodging meets market demands with easy updates

The Problem

AtHome Lodging is a reservation and referral service serving a quickly changing marketplace of busy professionals in a tight housing market. They needed to be able to add and modify site content quickly to respond to the demand of changing market influences.

Being a Web based service and having no in house technical staff, they needed a way to easily update available lodgings.

The Solution

Using our proprietary system which lets designers work in a visual environment while content is created in a database for later merging into templates, consistent look and feel was achieved while meeting their need to update the site remotely.

An Administration site is deployed which lets the client update pages from any Web browser anywhere in the world. Changes can be made in real time or later through and XML export function, depending on the demands of the project.

Results

The speed and ease of use of both their Web site and administration tool has allowed atHome Lodging to respond to changing market forces, double their rental capacity and meet then needs of renters worldwide.
